Residential
Common for front-facing windows, bathrooms, home offices and homes close to neighbors. Many HOAs regulate exterior reflectivity, so we check before recommending a mirrored look.
Window film solution
Reflective and dual-reflective films make it harder to see in during the day while you still see out — and they bring strong heat and glare control with them.

Short answer
Reflective window film provides one-way privacy when it is brighter outside than inside, which is most of the day. Outside, the glass looks mirrored; inside, you see out through a tinted view. At night, when interior lights are on, the effect reverses and people can see in — so evening privacy still needs blinds or shades. Dual-reflective films reduce the mirror effect on the inside for clearer night views out.
Front windows, ground-floor offices, bathrooms with large glass and homes close to the street often trade privacy for daylight.
Film can recover daytime privacy while keeping the room bright enough to use.
Reflective films have a metallized layer that reflects a high share of visible light. Your eye sees whichever side is brighter: by day the bright exterior reflects back at passers-by; you see out from the darker interior.
Dual-reflective films are more reflective on the outside than the inside, which reduces the 'mirror at night' effect indoors.

What we check first
Why H2O
Glass type, size, coatings and exposure are reviewed against the film maker's compatibility guidance before we recommend anything.
Our core architectural range comes from Madico, a window film manufacturer headquartered in Pinellas Park, here in Tampa Bay.
We work carefully around high-end interiors, custom window treatments and large or specialty glass.
You'll hear what a film will do, what it won't, and why we picked it — not just the most expensive option.
Most projects can be estimated by phone; we come out when the glass needs to be seen.
Questions
Not on its own. Reflective film gives privacy when the outside is brighter than the inside. At night with lights on inside, people can see in. Use window treatments for evening privacy.
A film that is more reflective on the exterior than on the interior. You get daytime privacy and strong solar control outside, with less mirror effect inside so night-time views out stay clearer.
